Milford Track
by Adam & Lara on 01/26/11
It was only a matter of time before Adam and Lara made national news. I mean, come on, we hiked the Milford Track with a professional baseball player. To you Garrett Olson is just a Seattle closer with a promising career ahead of him. But to us he's a hiking buddy, bff, and our ticket to national stardom (read where he talks about people he met along the way).
Anywho, back in November Adam and Lara walked the 4-day 33-mile Milford Track, which according to the consensus of the educated masses is the most famous hike in New Zealand and often called "the finest walk in the world." Most readers would be impressed by this, but since Wikipedia evidently has faulty information about pre-National-League 1870's St. Louis baseball, I know that all you show-me-state Missourians out there are currently raising an eyebrow and saying "the thing is, anybody can go onto Wikipedia and say whatever the hell they want." For that reason we've decided to post pictures of (almost) every mile of the trail to prove the trail's beauty and splendor.
Mile 1 was fun.
Mile 2 was fun too.
Mile 3 was thumbs up all the way!
Mile 4 was cool and classy with a Montell Jordan sort of look.
I got mile 5 on it.
Mile 6 was tasty.
Mile 7 was tempting.
Mile 9 was happy as a clam!
Mile 11 was sad.
Mile 12 was all stuck up.
Mile 13 was retarded.
Mile 14 threw them bows.
Mile 18 was a load of crap on our backs.
Mile 19 was cuddly.
Mile 20 was an intoxicating libation.
Mile 21 was just for looks.
Mile 22 was not a crook.
Mile 23 was off the hook.
Mile 25 was schlumpy.
Mile 26 was slanty.
Mile 27 was easy-peasy.
Mile 28 was squeezy-teazy.
Mile 29 was in the rubble.
Mile 30 was double trouble.
Mile 31 refused Adam for a date.
Mile 32 was Lara's best mate.
I guess dat's aight.
